Good morning everyone!
Last February, my family and I went on a skiing trip to Verbier in Switzerland and I enjoyed what I could probably argue is one of the countries with the best skiing experiences you can get anywhere in the world. The amount of snow was incredible, and the trails felt endless.
The biggest airport near Verbier is Geneva Airport. There are currently two airlines flying nonstop from the New York area to Geneva: United and Swiss. We found decently priced tickets on the nonstop United route from Newark to Geneva. The text bellow will turn into links as the reviews in this trip report are released. Here are the two installments:
Flight Review: United (Economy) | Newark-Geneva | Boeing 767-300er
Flight Review: United (Economy) | Geneva-Newark | Boeing 767-300er
Yes, I know this trip report is really short. But I promise, I will have a longer and much more interesting Trip Report coming up soon!
This was my first time flying United since their recent PR incidents, so I was excited to see how they have changed (or if they have changed at all). I was also excited because I can now compare these United 767 flights to my Austrian 767 flights (comparision coming after the trip report!)
So how were the flights? Good in some regards, and kind of disappointing in others.
I don’t want to go to much into it in this post, but let’s just say that while the hard product was top notch, the soft product could definitely use some improvements. Oh, and there was a three-hour delay on the flight back (although that was not all United’s fault).
Thanks for reading, and stay tuned for the full review!
